She comes from a notable film family, with her father being Boney Kapoor, who is the son of the late filmmaker Surinder Kapoor and the founder of the Anil Kapoor Films Company.
Her mother, the late actress Sridevi, had a successful career in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. Kapoor is also the niece of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor.
She has a younger sister named Khushi and two half-siblings, actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, from her father's previous marriage.
Unfortunately, Kapoor experienced the loss of her mother at the age of 21 when she was found deceased due to accidental drowning in her guest room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Kapoor completed her education at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. Prior to her film debut, she pursued an acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California.
